Insomniacookies in Lake Charles, LA is hiring for the Cookie Crew at our bakery. You’ll greet guests, take orders, explain the menu, and deliver a warm, friendly experience both in person and on the phone.

You’ll bake cookies to golden perfection, assemble delivery orders, handle payments, and keep the bakery clean and inviting. We offer flexible part-time schedules, daily pay options with Pay-on-Demand, vacation and sick time, pet insurance, mentorship, and growth opportunities in a fun team

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Strong communication, organizational, and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 lb.
• Age 18 or older.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery
