Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring for the Cookie Crew at our Carbondale, IL store. You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered warm with a smile.

You will also bake delicious cookies and assist with ice cream scooping, while maintaining a clean bakery environment. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a friendly demeanor, and are available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & on the phone.
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.
