Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Ypsilanti, MI, is seeking team members for the Cookie Crew. You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items, and ensure accuracy while delivering a warm experience in store and over the phone.

You will bake cookies to perfection and assist with ice cream scoops, ensuring orders are packed quickly and correctly. Eligible applicants should be 18+, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service focused role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders according to procedure.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and confirm orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm customer experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream when needed.
• Ensure fast, warm delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our EMU store located at 733 West Cross St. Ypsilanti, MI 48197, you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!

WHAT ELSE WILL I DO AS A MEMBER OF THE COOKIE CREW?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
