Job summary

Insomnia Cookies' Naperville bakery is seeking a friendly Cookie Crew team member to be the face of the store, greet guests, take orders, and bake our delicious cookies. You will provide a warm experience in person and over the phone while handling payments and keeping the bakery clean.

The role offers flexible part-time schedules, paid vacation and sick time, and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company. Must be at least 18 and able to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role is preferred.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service oriented and willing to exceed guest expectations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders per procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and confirm orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm, friendly experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, correctly packaged delivery orders.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our brand new Naperville, IL bakery located at 22 E Chicago Ave, Naperville, IL (Suite 109) you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery
