Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking team members for the Cookie Crew at our Cleveland store. You will greet guests, take orders, bake warm cookies, and ensure accurate order delivery, both in-store and for delivery. You will work in a fast-paced, fun team environment and help create a great customer experience.

Requirements include 6+ months in customer service, ability to lift up to 40 lb, and eligibility to work in the United States. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service focus and willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders per procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and confirm accuracy of orders.
• Provide warm service in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Package and deliver orders promptly and accurately.
• Handle cash with accuracy and avoid shortages or overages.
• Clean and sanitize the bakery area.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our CWRU store located at 11308 Euclid Ave, Cleveland OH 44106, you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!

WHAT ELSE WILL I DO AS A MEMBER OF THE COOKIE CREW?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
