Job summary

The Barclay at Clemson in Clemson, SC is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals according to established menus, maintaining high standards of food quality and hospitality in a senior living environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, culinary training preferred, and at least 2 years of kitchen experience. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required to support resident care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree/education preferred (Trade School/Associate/Bachelor's).
• 2 years of related culinary experience.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with all cooking methods.
• Experience with therapeutic/modified diets (preferred).
• Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends.

Primary Responsibilities of the Cook:

• Prep, plan and cook meals according to established menus
• Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in food quality and service quality

• Willingness to work in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.

Requirements

Education/Experience
