Job summary

Rose Senior Living is recruiting a hospitality focused Cook to join our culinary team. This role provides full-scope, hands on culinary functions within the community. You will work on-site in Carmel, IN, serving residents and ensuring meals meet dietary and quality standards.

The position starts at $19 per hour and requires a minimum completion of sophomore year in high school. Prior food service and senior-care experience are preferred as you contribute to a warm, community-centered kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
