Job summary

Wachusett Brewery in Westminster, MA is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality food for our taproom and Brew Yard guests. You will create dishes that delight customers with timely delivery from our new kitchen, follow instructions and work as a team, and use proficient knife skills and basic cooking equipment.

Qualifications

• General food safety knowledge (SERV Safe preferred).
• At least 1 year cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
• High level of professionalism.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Light amount of lifting (usually less than 20 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with the required ingredients and cooking equipment
• Ensure great presentation of all dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored safely & properly
• Stock, date, rotate and check the temperature of products
• Continuously check the quality of ingredients
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing food
• Working as a team and helping wherever needed
