Job summary

Barrel One Collective is seeking a Cook for Long Trail Brew Pub in Bridgewater, Vermont. You will prepare high-quality dishes, follow recipes, and ensure timely delivery from our new kitchen while maintaining clean, organized stations.

The goal is to deliver exceptional food to complement our craft beer offering. Ideal candidates possess knife skills, general food safety knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• General food safety knowledge (SERV Safe preferred).
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
• High level of professionalism.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure great presentation of all dishes before serving.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Store foods safely and properly; rotate inventories.
• Stock, date, rotate, and check product temperatures.
• Continuously check ingredient quality.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing food.
• Collaborate with team and assist wherever needed.

Summary

We are looking for a Cook to prepare high-quality and delicious food. You will prepare dishes that will delight customers with the taste and timely delivery out of our new kitchen. Must be able to follow instructions and work as a team. A cook should possess proficient knife skills, as well as a thorough understanding of basic cooking equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast‑paced environments in which quality work is of the utmost importance. Positive and energetic interaction with other team members is required. Duties and Responsibilities
