Boiling Point Group in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Cook Trainee to join our kitchen team. This role offers a $19.04–$20.04 hourly wage, with both full-time and part-time options and a friendly, growth-minded environment.

You will follow recipes, maintain clean stations, and assist with food preparation while learning safety and quality standards. Prior restaurant exposure is preferred, and MS Office skills help with daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a restaurant environment (preferred).
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite products.
• High School diploma preferred.
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by BP’s gold standard.
• Understand and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Keep all equipment and machines cleaned and powered on/off as required.
• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Verify that prepared food meets BP requirements for quality.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to BP’s safety codes and code of ethics.
