Senior Resource Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Full Time Cook to work Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 am–7:30 pm. This role covers all kitchen stations and focuses on high-quality food prep, sanitation, and compliant operations in line with health regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of cooking experience and a valid Food Handler card. You will prep menu items, label and store foods properly, assist with dinners and events, and support the team with efficient, friendly

• Must have a Food Handler certification or be able to obtain one.
• Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook menu items to order.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per Health Department standards.
• Assist with daily dinner preparation and community events.
• Label and date all products for safekeeping and sanitation.
• Apply adept knife skills required for preparation.
• Breakdown workstation and complete closing duties including proper storage and labeling.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
• Work hard with a positive attitude and assist with dressings, stocks and sauces.
• Efficient in grilling, sautéing, braising and roasting with some baking.

Job Description

Full Time Cook works on all stations within the kitchen. This position is responsible for food preparation and maintaining quality standards, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, and operation of kitchen equipment in accordance with state and local health and food safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order.
• Meet quality standards, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Assist with daily dinner preparation and community events.
• Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Apply adept knife skills required for preparation.
• Must be able to breakdown work station and complete closing duties which include but not limited to returning all food items to the proper storage areas, rotate all returned product, wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away, straighten up and organize all storage areas, clean up and wipe down food prep area, reach‑in and walk‑ins.
• Must be able to follow recipes
• Hard working with a good attitude.
• Able to make dressings, soups, stocks and sauces.
• Efficient in grilling, sauteing, braising and roasting with some baking.

Qualifications

Must have at least 5 years of cooking, food handlers card and can obtain a Level One Finger Print Clearance. Card.
