Job summary

Personal Touch Food Service in Buffalo Seminary is seeking a Cook to join our school dining team. You will prepare a variety of meals meeting our standards, follow recipes, and work to maintain pace and quality in a busy cafeteria.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma and prior cooking in school or commercial kitchens, are reliable and punctual, and able to stand long shifts while lifting up to 40 lbs. Evening/weekend availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior cooking experience in a school, cafeteria, or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes, food safety procedures, and production schedules.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, loud, and sometimes stressful school cafeteria environment.
