Job summary

Bon Appétit is hiring a Cook Supervisor in San Francisco for a full-time position at 1800 Owens Street. The role requires 3–5 years of cooking and supervision and 1 year of high-volume pizza making experience.

The pay rate is $30.00 per hour, with a typical full-time schedule Monday through Friday. Benefits are included for both full-time and part-time staff, with additional medical and commuter options for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment safely according to policies.
• Helps serves meals and collects customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
