Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and serve meals for residents and staff. You will guide dietary aides and dishwashers to maintain food safety standards and follow policies.

The role involves 12pm-8pm shifts, kitchen sanitation, operating food service equipment, and supporting the Dietary Manager with daily tasks. Experience as a short-order cook is helpful, and a background check is required.

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed
• Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
