Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, TN, seeks a Culinary Cook to join a compassionate, team-oriented hospital kitchen. The role focuses on preparing and serving nutritious meals to patients, staff and guests in line with policy and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have prior culinary experience in hospital or health care settings, with Serve Safe certification preferred and a commitment to sanitation and food safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients, staff and guests in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with Lakeside Behavioral Health System.
• Assist with nutritional services and ensure quality meal presentation for patients and staff.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and hospital food service policies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prefer prior culinary experience in a restaurant, casual or fine dining kitchen, hospital, health care, or hospitality setting. Experience with Buffets, Banquets or EDR kitchens preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Serve Safe Certification preferred.
