Job summary

Juniper, a senior living community, is seeking a full-time cook to assist the Executive Chef and Dining Services Director in meal prep and to deliver excellent customer service to residents, staff and guests.

Responsibilities include preparing meals for residents and visitors, coordinating dining team communications, supporting special events with the Director of Sales and Marketing, maintaining records, and following safety regulations for fire protection, infection control and equipment use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in culinary arts or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Assist in coordination of effective communication among dining team and resident assistants.
• Work with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing for planning and executing special events.
• Maintain records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
• Follow safety regulations including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.
