Job Details

Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Objective: To prepare and cook food products as specified by the Manager in Charge of the Shift while adhering to the specifications and procedures in the Cooking Section of the Church's Operating Standards Manual (the "OSM"). Tasks should be completed in a timely, clean, and orderly manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up batter station, gather necessary smallwares, and prepare batter mix.
• Ensure call sheets are complete, posted, and utilized effectively.
• Check all equipment and report malfunctions immediately to the Manager in Charge.
• Balance fryers' color and maintain proper shortening levels.
• Filter and clean fryers at designated times following safety guidelines.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepare and cook food products as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensure all food meets quality standards and specifications, including proper holding times.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness through "clean-as-you-go" practices following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Stock and verify availability of products and supplies at the batter station.
• Keep the cooler organized and clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge of Shift.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and perform tasks such as climbing, reaching, stooping, and handling various items.
