Job summary

Bridge Senior Living – a certified Great Place to Work – is hiring Full-Time & PRN Cooks in Mechanicsburg. For PRN roles, associates are required to work one weekend per month.

We offer competitive pay, health insurance starting at $75 per month for full-time, a 401(k) with company match and Next Day Pay with PayActiv. As a Cook you create a high-end dining experience for our residents seven days a week, featuring themed dinners, carving stations and dessert displays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, soups, vegetables, garnishes and accompaniments.
• Maintain high standards of quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Follow nutritional guidelines and care plans for residents.
• Keep prep station and kitchen clean and sanitized per food safety guidelines.

Cook Job Summary:

As a Cook you are responsible for creating a high-end dining experience for our residents; dining services are available seven days a week, featuring themed dinners, carving stations, and dessert displays.

• Prepare delicious entrees, soups, vegetables, accompaniments, and garnishes
• Maintain high standards of quality, temperature control, and presentation
• Follow nutritional guidelines based on resident care plan
• Ensure the prep station and kitchen is kept clean and sanitized in accordance with food safety guidelines
