Job summary

TriCities Hospital is seeking a culinary associate to prepare, season, and cook a variety of meals under supervision, following menus, recipes and production sheets. You will maintain a clean, sanitary work area and coordinate with other staff on portion sizes and menus.

The role requires a High School graduate or equivalent and 2+ years of healthcare and cooking experience. This position offers a pathway to growth within our hospital kitchen team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• 2+ years of quantity cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities while following menus, recipes and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes.
• Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.
