Job summary

Hill Robinson Group is seeking a capable Sole Cook for a 30m private yacht currently based in the United States with itineraries in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. The role focuses on delivering fresh, flavorful dishes with excellent presentation, especially meat preparation, and requires independent galley management.

Start date is November. This seasonal contract offers Euros-based salary and a dynamic, family-oriented工作 environment at sea.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 seasons’ experience in a Sole Cook/Chef role on 25m+ yachts.
• Strong family-style cooking with excellent product knowledge and presentation.
• Speciality in meat preparation and cooking techniques.
• Provisioning knowledge for Caribbean and Mediterranean.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage the galley independently.
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh meals for owners and guests aboard a 30m private yacht.
• Plan menus, source provisions, and manage galley operations independently.
• Ensure high presentation and quality of dishes with attention to detail.
• Maintain hygiene and kitchen standards in line with maritime requirements.

Sole Cook – Private 30m M/Y

This is a great seasonal opportunity for a capable and well-organised Sole Cook to join a 30m private motor yacht currently based in the US, operating between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. The programme is family-oriented, and the owners are looking for a confident cook who can deliver fresh, flavourful dishes with excellent presentation, specialising in high-quality meat preparation.

Female candidates are preferred due to cabin arrangements, but strong male candidates will also be considered.

Start date: November

Itinerary: US, Caribbean and Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in Euros, seasonal contract

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 2 seasons’ experience in a similar Sole Cook/Chef role on 25m+ yachts
