Job summary

AdviniaCare Wellesley Alzheimer's Center in Wellesley, MA is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team on a part-time and full-time basis. You will plan, prepare, and cook meals for residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen.

The role emphasizes proper food handling, sanitation, teamwork, and a positive attitude to support a caring environment and high-quality resident dining experiences. Previous kitchen experience and a state-certified food handler are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen and following recipes to quality standards.
• Possession of a state food handling certificate and awareness of geriatric diets.
• Understanding of cooking procedures such as grilling, baking, boiling, etc.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures consistently in a kitchen.
• Capacity to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, as well as ensuring proper food handling and sanitation.
