Job Description

Under supervision, prepares food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions; serves patient trays; follows sanitation procedures; supervises kitchen staff; may assume duties of production manager.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare breakfast and lunch entrees according to patient needs and recipes.
  • Set up food for tray line and test food temperature.
  • Follow standardized recipes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the production manager.
Qualifications
  • Some High School required.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Ability to read/write English, basic computer skills.
Competencies
  • Decision making, problem solving, ability to work independently, communication skills, teamwork, customer service, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
