Job summary

Arbors/Ivy Assisted Living is seeking a Cook to join our team in a resident-centered dining program. The role emphasizes presenting meals with care, following recipes and guidelines, and engaging with residents to gather feedback.

You’ll support the kitchen, maintain safety and cleanliness, and ensure every plate reflects quality and pride in service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and prepare recipes independently.
• Working knowledge of cooking fundamentals.
• Serve-Safe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Allergy awareness and anti-choking training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, dietary needs, and safety guidelines.
• Present food with care, pride, and attention to detail.
