Job summary

The Arbors and The Ivy Assisted Living Communities is seeking a Full-Time Cook who takes pride in presentation and flavor. You will prepare meals per recipes and dietary needs, present food with care, and connect with residents to gather feedback while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Join a team that values comfort and quality dining.

Must read recipes, follow guidelines, and have Serve-Safe (or be able to obtain). 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and prepare recipes independently.
• Working knowledge of cooking fundamentals.
• Serve-Safe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Allergy awareness and anti-choking training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, dietary needs, and safety guidelines

• Step out to connect with residents and gather feedback

We’re looking for someone who cares about presentation, follows recipes and guidelines, and takes ownership of every plate that leaves the kitchen. Someone who understands that meals are one of the most important parts of a resident’s day.
