Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Peoria, IL is hiring Cooks (Heart of House Team Members) at 5121 W American Prairie Drive, Peoria. You’ll prepare wings, burgers, and more, slice and sauce with speed, and follow recipes and safety standards.

We value team players, enjoy a fast-paced setting, and offer training for those new to kitchens. Must be at least 18, with preferred Food Handler Certificate and prior restaurant/retail experience.

• Kitchen experience is helpful, but training available.

What You’ll Do

Our kitchen is the heart of the restaurant—and you’re a key player. You’ll help bring our bold flavors and fan-favorite menu to life.

• Prepare and cook menu items like wings, burgers, and more
• Slice, dice, grill, fry, and sauce with accuracy and speed
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work with your team to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Help with prep, stocking, and closing duties

The duties of this position may change from time to time.

Requirements:

Required

• Minimum 18 years of age (State Minor Laws Supersede)

Preferred

• Prior experience working in restaurant or retail environment
• Food Handler Certificate

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement in a busy kitchen
