The Terraces of Los Gatos - a HumanGood community in Los Gatos, CA, is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare food for residents while upholding sanitary standards.

Responsibilities include handling food to meet quality and quantity requirements, following ServSafe and Food Handler guidelines where applicable, and working Saturdays through Monday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Description

The Cook’s primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents. You would be handling food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards.

Schedule: PART-TIME

• Saturday - Monday (3 Days), 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (7.5 hours)

Pay Range: $25.00 - 34.00/hour, depending on experience

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• 2+ years of experience in culinary, food service, or fine dining restaurant experience


• Experience in country clubs or full-service restaurants is preferred


• Food Handler’s certification


• ServSafe certification (preferred)
