Cedar Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Zanesville, OH is seeking a friendly Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, follow recipes and dietary guidelines, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

The role offers part-time hours (Two 8-hour shifts weekly with every other weekend) and flexible options including full-time; benefits include 401K, referral bonuses, and education programs.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.

Summary We are seeking a Cook to join our culinary team at Cedar Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience within our communities.

Starting pay rate for the position is $15 an hour.

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Two (2) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview. In addition to our current part-time opportunity, we also have flexible employment options available including Full Time and a great Weekend Warrior program!
