Job summary

Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation, part of Certus Healthcare, seeks a Cook to join our culinary team in Zanesville, OH. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary guidelines, and ensure food safety standards for residents.

Starting pay is $15/hour with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week and an alternating weekend rotation. Flexible options include Part Time and a Weekend Warrior program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to prepare meals that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.

Summary

We are seeking a Cook to join our culinary team at Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience within our communities.

Starting pay rate for the position is $15 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Five(5) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

In addition to our current full-time opportunity, we also have flexible employment options available including Part Time and a great Weekend Warrior program!
