Job summary

Oak Grove Recovery in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare quality meals for patients in accordance with FDA Food Code standards and dietary guidelines. You will work as part of a passionate team focused on healing with dignity and purpose.

This role requires at least 2 years as a Cook, High School Diploma or equivalent, and a Food Protection Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Cook.
• Food Protection Manager Certification, or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare a variety of dishes.
• Interest or passion for substance use recovery is a plus.
• Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use.

• Ensure food is visually appealing and meets dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and rotation.
