Woodstock Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate Cook to join our team in a long-term care setting. This part-time role focuses on preparing meals for residents and staff while following dietary guidelines and safety procedures.

You will handle inventory, assist with kitchen operations, and support other staff in a fast-paced environment under the direction of the Dietary Director. Strong communication and a caring attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle and store raw materials, cooked food, and non-food supplies properly.
• Order, restock, and maintain inventories for kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Follow establishment recipes when preparing meals.
• Prepare ingredients in accordance with menu requirements.
• Adhere to food health and safety procedures.
• Cook, clean, and assist other staff in daily operations.
• Deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
• Work shifts as assigned by the Dietary Director.
