  • We are hiring immediately for part-time COOK positions.
  • Location: Mayo Clinic Saint Mary's - 1216 Second Street South West, Rochester, MN 55905. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Part-time; days may vary, rotating weekends required. Hours between 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior culinary experience is required.
  • Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food following federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality food according to recipes to meet production and service schedules.
  • Serve meals with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
  • Use proper ticketing procedures and maintain records during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Follow all safety policies, including proper glove and equipment use.
