Job summary

Marcus Theatres in Minnesota’s Rochester Galaxy Cinema is hiring for a part-time Culinary/Kitchen role. Join a fast-paced team focused on quality and guest experience, where you’ll set up, read tickets, prep and cook to recipe, and keep the line organized.

Starting wage is $15.50 per hour with flexible or set schedules, free movies, and access to medical and retirement benefits for full-time staff. We provide an accelerated training program and a professional kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food items.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced and team-focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food items.
• Set-up of kitchen equipment.
• Station set-up, breakdown, and all necessary advance prep.
• Read tickets to produce orders.
• Prep and cooking of food to recipe.
• Maintain high quality level of food production and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Ability to keep the line and prep area organized, stocked and clean.
• Follow direction of the management team and food & beverage leadership.
• Assist in control of food waste.
