We are hiring immediately for a part-time COOK position.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food following standardized recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, using correct portions, ensuring proper temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Taste all food items.
3. Use established ticket procedures during service and maintain records.
4. Clean kitchen areas after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food safely.
5. Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Store food and supplies properly.
6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Perform job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
14. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
15. Commit to personal and others' safety.
16. Follow all company policies, including safe handling of knives, hot pans, and proper footwear and lifting techniques.
