Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a part-time Student Nutrition worker to support meal service during school days. The role offers a steady schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers, and shifts align with the school day.

You will prepare food, serve breakfast or lunch, cashier, wash dishes, mop floors, and help maintain a clean kitchen. Start date 8/31/2026; wage is $19.96 per hour with certification pay opportunities.

A typical day in the fast-paced life of a Student Nutrition employee includes:

  • Preparing food (making sandwiches, cutting up fruit & vegetables, making salads, etc)

  • Cleaning up kitchen at the end of the day

  • $19.96 per hour eligible for certification pay (Salary and fringe benefits in accord with the Agreement with the Food Service Employees)
