Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens - HumanGood is seeking a skilled Fine Dining Cook for a part-time, Thu-Sun schedule (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) at our Fresno, CA community. The role focuses on high-quality cooking in a healthcare setting, with opportunities to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in fine dining, strong knife work, sautéing, grilling and baking, plus experience with modified diets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5+ years in a fine dining kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills including knife work, sautéing, grilling and baking.
• Healthcare kitchen experience is preferred.
• Experience with restricted and modified diets (puree, mechanical softs).
• Knowledge of classic cooking techniques and flavors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for food and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
• Support adherence to healthcare dietary guidelines and modified diet orders.

Shift: Part-time, Thursday-Sunday 7:00AM-3:00PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Fine Dining Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in classic cooking techniques and a creative approach to food preparation. This position requires a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an individual who has the availability to work evenings and weekends.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Minimum of 3-5 or more years of experience in a fine dining kitchen
• Strong culinary skills, including knife work, sautéing, grilling, and baking
• Background cooking in a healthcare setting is preferred,
• Experience with restricted and modified diets, i.e. puree, mechanical softs
• Knowledge of classic cooking techniques and flavors
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for food and a desire to continuously learn and improve
