Job summary

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie is seeking a Part-Time Cook for the Anchor Point Crisis Residence Program in the Hudson Valley. The cook will prepare and serve meals and maintain kitchen and storage areas in compliance with applicable health and education standards.

Schedule: Mon-Wed 3:30pm-6:30pm; Sat-Sun 12:00pm-6:00pm; Thu-Fri off. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package including weekly pay, medical/vision/dental, life insurance, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, paid time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid NYS Driver License required.
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.
• Formal education or certificates related to food preparation preferred.
• Baking skills preferred.
• Quantity food experience preferred.
• Serve Safe certificate preferred.

We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking Part-Time Cook to work in our Anchor Point Crisis Residence Program. Position Summary: The Cook prepares and serves meals, and maintains kitchen and storage areas, all in accordance with the policies and standards of the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health, the State Education Child Nutrition Program, and the Agency. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 3:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 12:0pm-6:00pm, Thursday-Friday OFF. Paid time off includes 4 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, 12 holidays and 9 sick days annually. QualificationsMINIMUM Qualifications:
