Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents and guests, following recipes and maintaining sanitary kitchens. You will assist with menu development, prep, inventory, and daily operations to ensure a high standard of dining service.

The role requires prior kitchen experience, ServSafe certification (or within 30 days), flexibility with residents, and a strong work ethic. Join a team that values care, teamwork and quality meals.

Qualifications

• Must have previous kitchen experience.
• Sanitation Certification (ServSafe) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must be flexible and accommodating to residents and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares high quality, nutritious meals.
• Assists in developing menus and daily prep lists.
• Supports inventory and ordering with Dining Director/Executive Chef.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen and equipment.
• Cooks using baking, frying, salads, sauteing, and short order techniques.
