Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure high-quality dining experiences and follow strict safety standards in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes following recipes and dietary restrictions, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent resident service while adhering to COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer previous cook/food preparation experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen orderly.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education
