Candidates should have a ServSafe certification and at least one year of cooking experience, preferably in a nursing home setting with experience handling

• Nursing home experience and ability to manage texture-modified diets.
• At least one year of cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to current standards and facility policies.
• Ensure quality food service for patients/residents at all times.
• Work with dietary director to follow dietary textures and menus.

Responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations and facility policies, as directed by the Director of Dietary, to ensure that quality food service is give to the patient/resident at all times.

ServSafe Certification is required.

Nursing Home experience/diet textures.

One year experience

Hours 5am-1pm & 11am-7pm

Rates are based on experience.
