Job summary

South Mountain Healthcare is seeking a full-time Cook to join our Kitchen staff at Summit, NJ. ServSafe Certification is required, with nursing home experience and knowledge of diet textures preferred.

Hours are 5am-1pm and 11am-7pm; rates are based on experience. One year of experience is noted as a baseline for consideration.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Nursing home experience and knowledge of diet textures.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for patients/residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Ensure quality food service is provided at all times.
• Follow directives from the Director of Dietary.
