Job summary

Urban Egg in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes to our recipes and quality standards in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has proven kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Daytime and weekend availability is required to support breakfast, brunch, and lunch service.

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar culinary role in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet timing standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
