Qualifications

Job description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Cook

We have 4 openings currently with the following locations/hours:

  • Elmhurst Hospital (Full-Time: 11 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays)

  • Edward Hospital (Part Time: 12:00pm-8:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays)

  • Linden Oaks Hospital (2 Part Time positions available: 5am - 1:30pm or 10:30am-7pm with rotating weekends and holidays)

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting

  • Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position for employees working on their ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI)

What you do:

  • The cook prepares specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, catered services and ensures adherence to sanitation, safety and food handling procedures.
