Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking Kitchen Team Members to prepare fresh food daily, stock stations, and manage orders with speed and care. You will learn product knowledge, safety standards, and proper handling while supporting a friendly, fast-paced environment.

We offer a base pay starting at $12 per hour plus a high-paying tip pool, flexible shifts, free meals on each shift, and training for growth toward ownership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience preferred but not required; we will train you.
• Proper knife skills
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and with the team
• Strong work ethic with urgency and reliability
• Work flexible schedule
• Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
• Menu and product knowledge.
• Managing orders efficiently.
• Preparing catering orders.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Performing shift-side work including opening and closing duties.
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
