Job summary

Taziki's Café in Nashville, TN is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support daily food prep and station setup. You will learn menu items, handle orders efficiently, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Experience is welcomed but not required; we provide training. This role offers a flexible schedule, a positive team environment, and opportunities for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stock stations with required supplies.
• Maintain menu and product knowledge.
• Manage orders efficiently and prepare catering orders.
• Uphold proper food handling, storage, hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas; assist opening/closing duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies
• Menu and product knowledge
• Managing orders efficiently
• Preparing catering orders
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you!

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
