Cook Inc - Bloomington in Bloomington, IN is offering a Spring 2027 R&D Engineering Co-op. This paid internship provides a 16-week rotation across our R&D teams, with housing stipend and direct mentor support to deliver meaningful projects in medical device manufacturing.

You'll work under QMS guidance, meet regulatory requirements, and gain hands-on experience while balancing coursework. On-site and hybrid positions available, with opportunities for professional development and networking.

Qualifications

• College or University Junior or Senior preferred working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Graduate students also considered)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering knowledge to produce project deliverables / documents
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

The Spring Engineering C o -O p is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, IN . We offer a 16-week rotation in Research and Development Engineering and have multiple positions open across our R&D teams . This position includes a housing stipend , 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capston e presentation, and more . Physical Requirements

• On-site and hybrid positions that work under general office environmental conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
