Job summary

Taziki's Café is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with setup, station stocking, and menu knowledge while learning all safety and hygiene standards. No experience required, we train you and support growth in a friendly team.

Typical shifts run morning and evenings, with flexible scheduling. Join us to deliver quality meals and great service in a welcoming, family‑oriented restaurant.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ or older.
• Experience preferred but training provided.
• Knife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

• Professional attitude and respect for coworkers and brand.
• Obtain a Food Handler’s card after starting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately.

• Preparing catering orders.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties.
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm


• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm


• Weekends - when applicable


• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
