Job summary

Taziki's Café is a fast-casual restaurant brand with over 90 locations. This Huntsville-based role supports kitchen operations, prepping items daily, stocking stations, and handling orders with strong hygiene and teamwork. Training is provided; a flexible schedule and daily pay options may be available.

Customers enjoy Mediterranean-inspired dishes and a friendly, efficient kitchen environment. No late nights and opportunities for growth exist within the brand.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you.
• Proper knife skills.
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
• Menu and product knowledge.
• Managing orders efficiently.
• Preparing catering orders.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties.
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki\'s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm


• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm


• Weekends - when applicable


• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
