Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, AK is seeking a Cook for Long Term Care to prepare and cook meals for daily production and special events. You will supervise kitchen operations and ensure sanitation and infection control standards are met in a tribal health setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years in an institutional foodservice, plus a sanitation certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years experience in an institutional foodservice setting.
• Sanitation course certificate or must be eligible to complete a sanitation certification course.
• Knowledge of the use, handling and maintenance of kitchen prep and cooking utensils, small kitchen appliances and institutional size kitchen appliances.
• Formal training in institutional food preparation.
