Job summary

Little General LLC in Columbia, MO is seeking a Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment where quality food and teamwork are central. You will prepare and cook menu items, keep a clean workstation, and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A food handler's certificate is a plus and prior line or prep cook experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Food handler's certification is a plus.
