Job summary

Little General LLC is seeking a talented Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Columbia, MO. You will prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards, maintain a clean workstation, and contribute to a fast-paced, teamwork-driven service.

We value reliability and food safety, with opportunities to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A food handler's certification is a plus, and you should be prepared to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs while helping the team

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Food handler's certification is a plus.
